Biography
Destiny has a passion for receiving justice for those in need and helping the helpless, which is why she chose the practice of law. She believes in second chances, advocating for what is right, and fighting for justice where justice is due. Destiny cares for vulnerable people and believes that she can be their voice.
Destiny grew up in Michigan and graduated from Marian High School, a private school in Bloomfield Hills. She went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Oakland University, where she was a legal assistant at a personal injury firm. During her years in undergraduate school, Destiny spent much of her time volunteering at her local church, where she led youth groups and mentored young adults. She implements much of what she has learned mentoring young adults, in helping those with criminal convictions lead better lives.
Destiny moved to Chicago in 2018 to study law and received her Juris Doctorate at Loyola University Chicago, School of Law class of 2021. During her time in law school, Destiny spent time working in a Child Law Clinic, serving as Guardian Ad Litem to children who were dealing with the repercussions of their parent's legal custody battles with the State. This is when Destiny concentrated her efforts into family law.
Today, Destiny practices criminal, family, and personal injury law, and is always expanding her knowledge of the law. She has successfully defended juveniles who deserved second chances, or those with serious offenses. She also advocates for those are who are going through the difficulties of divorce and tries to make the process as smooth as possible. Destiny loves what she does for her clients!
