Meet Our Integrator - Leza Khoshaba-Kinaia!

1. Briefly describe your role at Khamo Law PLLC?

My role as an Integrator at Khamo Law PLLC includes streamlining operations and enhancing the effectiveness of the legal team. I work closely with the Managing Attorney, Koro Khamo, to strategize our firm’s vision and its day-to-day operations, ensuring that all the staff work together in a harmonious way towards achieving our firm goals. I also oversee our case management system, facilitate communication between attorneys, develop KPIs and ensure that legal strategies are effectively implemented.

2. What aspects of your position are you particularly passionate about?
 
 As an Integrator, it is crucial to seamlessly blend diverse elements of the firm to function as a cohesive unit. I am particularly passionate about creating harmony within the firm by ensuring that all teams are working towards the same goals and objectives, as well as, fostering a collaborative work environment, resolving conflicts and implementing systems that facilitate productive workflows.

3. What are some of your greatest challenges and accomplishments?
 
My greatest challenge was learning and understanding Personal Injury Law. I worked in criminal prosecution for almost a decade in Canada. Besides learning PI, I also had to learn about the laws in America.

Transitioning to the Integrator role from the paralegal position was one of my great accomplishments.

4. What are you currently most excited about?

I am excited about the implementation of ongoing advancements in legal technology and how it will continue to transform the way we practice law and streamline our business processes in a smooth and effective way.

5. What are your hobbies or current side projects that you have going on?

I am currently enrolled at Oakland University in the psychology program. Once finished, my goal is attending law school.
