On August 11, 2025, a significant three-vehicle crash accident at Birch Run Township, Michigan, on Greta Road resulted in multiple individuals being hospitalized.
What Happened
According to reports around 3:30 p.m., the Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a collision involving a Chevrolet Impala, a Chevrolet Traverse, and a Buick Enclave. The crash happened when a 22-year-old man from Taymouth Township attempted to pass vehicles on the shoulder of Gera Road, east of Birch Run.
Investigators say the Impala first hit the Traverse, pushing it off the road into mailboxes, then collided with the Enclave, which was stopped in front of the Traverse.
The Victims
A 74-year-old woman from Clio, who was riding as a passenger in the Traverse, sustained injuries and was transported to Hurley Medical Center in Flint. She remains in critical condition. The driver of the Traverse, a 79-year-old man, was taken for a precautionary medical evaluation.
The driver of the Impala and a 31-year-old woman from Mt. Morris, who was driving the Enclave, also sought medical assessments at local hospitals. The Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office continues its investigation into the crash, and authorities are reviewing the case for possible criminal charges.
