AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – A woman lost her life on Thursday afternoon in a rollover accident near the intersection of South Boulevard and Adams Road in Auburn Hills. According to the Auburn Hills Police Department, the Auburn Hills accident leaves one dead, a woman who is reported to be from outside the Metro Detroit area, was involved in a single-vehicle crash that resulted in her car rolling over and colliding with a tree.
Witnesses at the scene described seeing the vehicle, a Chevrolet Equinox, swerving prior to the accident. Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the driver experienced a medical emergency or if other factors contributed to the rollover. The car was subsequently loaded onto a flatbed truck around 4 p.m. for removal from the scene.
As the investigation continues, Auburn Hills Police have closed South Boulevard between Nichols and Squirrel Road. They are urging anyone with information regarding the crash to come forward and assist with their inquiries.
