On the morning of November 19, 2025, a devastating three-car crash occurred at the intersection of State St. and Midland Rd. in Saginaw Township, resulting in the tragic death of a 67-year-old woman. The incident unfolded around 7:52 a.m. when a Ford pickup truck, driven by a 31-year-old woman from Saginaw, lost control while traveling westbound on State St. The truck crossed the center line, colliding with an eastbound Chevrolet Cruze. This initial impact was followed by a rear-end collision with a Chevrolet Tahoe that was unable to stop in time.
The driver of the Ford truck sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital. Two young children were also passengers in her vehicle; one complained of minor injuries, while the other was unharmed. Unfortunately, the driver of the Chevrolet Cruze suffered severe injuries and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
